摘要: Heterogeneous networks require mechanisms for transparent protocol boosting in legacy systems and adaptive support seamless interoperability between different wireless access methods. In this paper, we present an open performance enhancement architecture that is developed to provide a generic enhancing proxy (PEP) service points terminals. First, describe the basic philosophy of our approach. Then some illustrative modules are presented with results. Finally, future work required order make so-called adaptation layer (WAL) useful production quality environments.
