摘要: The effect of nutrients on L(+)-lactic acid production from glucose was investigated using Rhizopus oryzae ATCC 52311. From the shake-flask experiments, optimal medium composition defined for improved lactic-acid production. In order to enhance rate and product yield, controlled aeration in a bubble column conducted under conditions. Results showed maximum 2.58 g/L/h obtained with an initial concentration 94 g/L. Final 83 g/L achieved after 32 h fermentation weight 0.88 g lactic acid/g consumed.
