摘要: Description of a technique and prospective follow-up study. The aim this study was to present our experience in the surgical treatment ischial pressure sores, especially recurrence. Department Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Spinal Injuries Unit, CTO Hospital, Rome, Italy. From 1995 1997, authors used 12 consecutive paraplegic patients, who had grade III or IV decubitus ulcer area only, two different independent flaps coupled together ‘criss-cross’ musculocutaneous flap: split-muscle gluteus maximus flap rhomboid fasciocutaneous local flap. average period 3 years 9 months. Details operative procedure are presented prove that criss-cross closure sore beneficial for patients with spinal cord injury. All survived; recurrence occurred one patient (8%). Pressure-sore-free survival after surgery 20 months an 26 without results obtained confirm be safe useful. We believe valuable alternative reconstruction primary recurrent ulcers.
