摘要: Strain mechanism of a borosilicate glass was investigated using manganin gauges in two types shock‐wave experimental assemblies. A method is proposed to obtain the pressure‐specific volume an deviatoric stress‐specific planes. Above HEL (∼75kbar), undergoes significant, but not complete, loss shear strength, and material shows viscoplastic behavior. The two‐wave structure, obtained above HEL, seems consistent with densification glass.
