摘要: A two-component transposable element system consisting of a stabilized Activator (Ac st) and chimeric Dissociation (Ds) has been introduced into the genome Brassica napus. Analyses performed on F2 progeny derived from crosses between Ac st- Ds-bearing parents confirm that Ac transposase catalyzes somatic excision Ds in both embryonic non-embryonic tissues this important crop species. The data further reveal vast majority plants containing Ac st exhibit excision. However, level is low germinal events are not observed. We estimate occurs at frequency < 0.2%. RT-PCR analysis transcript somatically active seedlings reveals introns III IV highly misprocessed. pattern processing very similar to observed germinally inactive but Arabidopsis seedlings. suggest activity B. napus dependent efficiency processing.
