摘要: Continuous granulation of powders is a unit operation that poses both operational and modelling challenges. We discuss the formulation several alternative multiscale models for drum granulator. All combine vessel scale population balance model with granule discrete element method (DEM) model, but they are linked using different integration frameworks. The inter-scale flow information potential applications outlined.
