摘要: AbstractRecent advances in biomedical HIV prevention have led to optimistic projections of a dramatic worldwide reduction new infections by 2030. This optimism is counterbalanced concerns that the protective benefits one such technology, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), may be negated increases other behaviours offset these (risk compensation). To contribute deeper understanding concepts safety and risk context PrEP, we draw on narrative accounts 61 male PrEP users who participated inaugural demonstration project: iPrEx open-label extension study.
