摘要: We previously constructed telomerase-dependent, replication-selective adenoviruses OBP-301 (Telomelysin) and OBP-401 [Telomelysin-green fluorescent protein (GFP); TelomeScan], the replication of which is regulated by human telomerase reverse transcriptase promoter. By intratumoral injection, these viruses could replicate within primary tumor subsequent lymph node metastasis. The aim present study was to evaluate possibility systemic administration telomerasedependent adenoviruses. assessed antitumor efficacy ability deliver GFP in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) metastatic colon cancer nude mouse models. showed that i.v. significantly inhibited liver metastases orthotopically implanted HCC. Further, we visualize tumor-specific expression gene after portal venous or administration. Thus, adenoviral vectors should have clinical potential treat detect metastasis [Mol Cancer Ther 2009;8(11):3001–8]
