摘要: Fluorescence-guided surgery (FGS) of cancer is an area intense current interest. However, although benefits have been demonstrated with FGS, curative strategies need to be developed. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) one the most invasive cancers and not totally resectable using standard bright-light (BLS) or FGS strategies. We report here a strategy for GBM. In this study, telomerase-dependent adenovirus OBP-401 infection brightly selectively labeled GBM green fluorescent protein (GFP) in orthotopic nude mouse models. OBP-401–based enabled resection without recurrence at least 150 days, compared less than 30 days BLS.
