Production of leukemic blast growth factor by a human bladder carcinoma cell line

摘要: Circulating blast cells from the peripheral blood of acute myeloblastic leukemia patients include a subpopulation capable colony formation in presence phytohemagglutinin-stimulated leukocyte-conditioned medium (PHA-LCM). We describe complete replacement assay PHA-LCM by conditioned human bladder carcinoma cell line, HTB9. Both media contain stimulator growth that elutes as single peak Sephadex G100 column with an apparent molecular weight 30,000. It is shown this leukemic factor distinct erythroid-potentiating activity (EPA) and possibly granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor.
