摘要: Alterations in carbohydrate metabolism were evaluated 60 dogs with untreated hyperadreno-corticism by measuring basal concentrations of plasma glucose and insulin performing tolerance tests. The could be divided into four groups based on paired concentrations. Eight had normal both insulin. Twenty-four (40 percent) euglycaemic mild to moderate hyperinsulinaemia whereas 23 (38 per cent) hyperglycaemia severe hyperinsulinaemia. five (8 overt ketoacidotic diabetes mellitus relative deficiency. Of eight tested, six intravenous intolerance; all the increased total secretion during testing. Resistance hypoglycaemic effect exogenous was demonstrated seven tested. In 20 that again determined after correction hyperadrenocorticism, mean decreased range.
