摘要: Background Although neurological complications of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection are common, the presence cerebrovascular disease (CVD) has been seldom reported. The purpose this report is to review available data on association between stroke and acquired syndrome (AIDS). Summary Review A all literature published mid-1976 December 1994 was performed through a MEDLINE search with following key words: AIDS, CVD, T-cell lymphotropic type III, HIV-1. Only reports clinical in patients AIDS or HIV autopsy series findings were selected. study, population, number patients, subtype etiology stroke, associated conditions described.
