摘要: Zinc is a trace element that plays central role in the immune system. In present study, effect of zinc on phagocytic capacity canine peripheral blood phagocytes was examined vitro by flow cytometry. used at concentration 100 μM, which preserved cell viability. Treatment with did not directly affect polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) and mononuclear cells (PBMC). However, it enhance monocyte-rich cells. Moreover, PMN but PBMC remarkably enhanced culture supernatants from treated zinc. Anti-recombinant (rc) tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) polyclonal antibody (pAb) neutralized enhancing supernatant zinc-treated this had higher TNF-α levels than untreated PBMC. Thus, may stimulate to produce TNF-α, enhances phagocytes.
