摘要: Meningiomas represent the second most common central nervous system tumor affecting adults. Two of frequent early events in meningioma tumorigenesis involve loss expression neurofibromatosis 2 (NF2) and 4.1B genes. Recently, was shown to interact with suppressor lung cancer-1 (TSLC1) protein, prompting us examine TSLC1 meningiomas. We developed specific anti-TSLC1 antibodies normal human leptomeninges, cell lines, meningiomas different pathological grades by Western blot (n = 10) immunohistochemistry 123). Whereas expressed leptomeninges immunohistochemistry, absent 3 malignant lines markedly reduced or 30% benign blot. Restoration a TSLC1-deficient line resulted proliferation. In series 123 (98 adult 25 pediatric), 48% (WHO grade I), 69% atypical (grade II), 85% anaplastic III) Moreover, associated decreased patient survival, within overall group, Collectively, these results suggest that plays an important role pathogenesis.
