摘要: Some typical examples of large magnetoresistance effects observed in intermetallic compounds are reviewed and briefly compared with the giant (GMR) magnetic multilayers. Basically, changes at metamagnetic transitions two classes intermetallics, antiferromagnetics spin fluctuators. In former case, a metamagnetic-transition is connected suppression antiferromagnetic coupling between moments as discussed several f-electron materials (NdGa/sub 2/, UNiGa other UTX antiferromagnets). The latter class represented by RCo/sub 2/ which resistivity drop formation ferromagnetic ordering Co moments, leads to fluctuation scattering conduction electrons. FeRh based alloys we observe combination both phenomena, Fe sublattice Rh moments. possibilities tuning material parameters desired for applications SmMn/sub 2/Ge/sub Ce(Fe,T)/sub Ce(Fe,X)/sub (Mn,T)/sub 2/Sb MnPtAl.
