摘要: Abstract A complete mass spectrometry analysis of venom components from male and female scorpions the species Rhophalurus junceus Cuba is reported. In order 200 individual molecular masses were identified in both venoms, which 63 are identical females genders. It means that a significant difference exists between individuals different sexes, but most abundant present sexes. The relative abundance among Three well defined groups peptides separated identified. first group corresponds to with 1000–2000 Da; second 3500–4500 Da weight, third 6500–8000 Da weights. total 86 rich disulfide bridges found 27 three 59 four bridges. LC-MS/MS allowed identification amino acid sequence determination 31 novel venom. Two new putative K+-channel sequences by Edman degradation. They contain 37 residues, packed assigned systematic numbers: α-KTx 1.18 α-KTx 2.15.
