摘要: Endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) are a persistent threat to human and animal health. Detecting these agents identifying their basic mechanisms of action is crucial determining impact. However, defining the differing effects EDCs sites activity, such as why some tissues more sensitive than others, challenging endeavor. The zebrafish (Danio rerio) powerful genetic model that can provide unique insights into issues. New tools for transgenesis genome editing enabling identification specific proteins receptors mediate response EDC exposure. We outline how transgenic reporters detect targeted mutations against or downstream effectors make an especially favorable system toxicological research.
