摘要: We assessed the accuracy of voxel-based morphometry (VBM) using a three-dimensional T1-weighted MRI in discriminating Alzheimer's disease (AD) very early stage amnestic type mild cognitive impairment and age-matched healthy controls. randomly divided these subjects into two groups. The first group comprising 30 AD patients 41 controls was used to identify area with most significant gray matter loss compared normal based on analysis comparison. second 31 determine discrimination VBM. A Z-score map for image subject obtained by comparison mean standard deviation images each voxel after anatomical standardization normalization global following equation; Z-score=([control mean]-[individual value])/(control S.D.). Receiver operating characteristic curves bilateral medial temporal areas including entorhinal cortex showed high 87.8%. This result would open up possibility diagnosis
