Dengue fever mimicking acute appendicitis: A case report

摘要: INTRODUCTION Dengue fever is an acute viral disease, which usually presents as a mild febrile illness. Patients with severe disease present dengue haemorrhagic or toxic shock syndrome. Rarely, it abdominal symptoms mimicking appendicitis. We case of male patient presenting right iliac fossa pain and suspected appendicitis that was later diagnosed following negative appendicectomy.
