摘要: A virus belonging to the Flaviviridae group causes dengue haemorrhagic fever. Dengue presenting as acute liver failure is rare. endemic in India. The last epidemic of occurred Delhi 2003. During this epidemic, 2185 confirmed cases were reported. serotypes 2 and 3 responsible for epidemic. 19-yr-old male presented our hospital with complaints fever 12 days, during He was diagnosed having shock syndrome, stage IV failure. had primary infection. made complete recovery supportive management.
