摘要: Fine root and nodule production turnover in pruned 2- 8-yr-old Erythrina poeppigiana (Walp.) O.F. Cook trees were estimated under humid tropical conditions by applying the compartment flow model (CFM) to fine biomass necromass measured sequentially taken core samples. Shoot pruning intensities compared complete (i.e., removal of shoots) partial retention one branch on stump). The CFM provided reasonable estimates dynamics but did not apply data. Over a five-month observation period, completely partially 2-yr-old was 58.2 115 g tree−1, respectively, corresponding values 26.8 26.4 tree−1. Senescent nodules roots pass soil organic matter via decomposition. Partially added 95.4 50.4 tree−1 decomposed soil, respectively. respective value for 26.7 36.5g Nodule compensated new at 10–14 weeks after pruning. E. tree stump allows better survival, enhances production.
