摘要: AbstractThe Upper Tons River Basin of North India has been selected for prioritisation sub-watersheds (SW) based on morphometric parameters with respect to groundwater derived from topographic sheets and CARTOSAT data. There are 10 SW have delineated in the region, high stream frequency (Fs) values (1–5) SW-9 indicated occurrence steep slopes, less permeable rocks, greater runoff, infiltration possibility. Further, these regions predicted as poor potentialities. SW-2 identified poorest potential zone, whereas SW-4 (6–8) possess good bed rocks. The Drainage density (Dd) map demonstrated that middle south-west region possesses higher Dd northeastern contain lower Dd. areal indicate elongated shape basin, hilly moderate steeper ground slope. outcomes work manage ameliorate flash flood droughts.
