摘要: Maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3), a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), is involved in cancer development and metastasis. The objective of the present study was to evaluate whether common single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) MEG3 could be related with colorectal risk Chinese. We genotyped six tagSNPs case-control including 518 cases 527 control subjects. Multivariate logistic regression analysis applied calculate adjusted odds ratios (ORs). found that rs7158663 AA genotype, but not GA had significant increased risk, compared GG genotype (OR = 1.96 P 0.006 for versus GG, OR 1.20 0.171 GG). Further stratified indicated significantly correlated individuals age ≤ 60 family history cancer. However, there no association between tumor site stage (P 0.842 site, 0.601 stage). These results demonstrate genetic variants may contribute studies are required confirm these findings.
