摘要: Drug cravings are elicited by environmental stimuli associated with the rewarding effects of drugs. As an animal model such associative learning, conditioned place preference (CPP) is widely used. Since hippocampus closely related to reward memory and hippocampal local field potential (LFP), in particular theta rhythm known be bodily movements, might one key neural substrates. On basis this assumption, we recorded behaviors LFP eight rats during cocaine-induced acquisition expression CPP. The earliest appearance phase-locked activity was observed before entered cocaine-paired environment after conditioning; entrance, disappeared. This stronger when stayed for a long time environment. Our observation suggested that approaching behavior rat caused memory. Thus, role drug craving should emphasized further.
