摘要: The demand for infrared materials which exhibit higher performance is still growing; both on the thermal and mechanical side as well width of optical window, with an extension transparency towards long wavelength region to satisfy requirements space applications. Glasses glass-based ceramics offer advantage unique rheological properties allowing molding fiber drawing. In controlling nucleation/growth process in a chalcogenide glass modified by alkali halide, it has been possible develop new generation containing nanosize grains transparent mid infrared. For exploration universe, low phonon glasses 20 μm beyond are needed reach this goal family telluride was developed combining Te Ge addition Gallium or Iodine stabilization. These from 2 can be drawn into fiber.
