摘要: Abstract Background In the 1990s, China introduced rubella vaccine into private market using BRD-II virus strain, which is different than globally used RA27/3 strain. 2007, containing was national immunization program and recommended for routine use. However, to our knowledge, there are no field effectiveness (VE) studies of vaccine. April 2011, a outbreak detected in two daycare centers Harbin city, China. We conducted an investigation determine VE Methods Rubella cases were either laboratory-confirmed or epidemiologically linked cases. collected demographic characteristics, migrant status, history measles vaccination from all children centers. Results The first case on 22 November, 2010. Among 143 centers, acquired rubella, overall attack rate (AR) 15.4% (22/143). AR higher-grade classes (21.7%) higher lower grade (3.9%). among (47.8%) local (9.2%). coverage 17% (24/143), while 100%. rubella-vaccinated 0% (0/24), rubella-unvaccinated 18.5% (22/119), 100% ( P value = 0.025, 95% CI: 35–100%). born before 2007 10.2% (10/98), that after (31.1% (14/45), RR = 0.33, 95%CI: 0.16–0.68). Emergency 11 12 stopped one week later. Conclusions Domestic strain showed high against rubella. through insufficient. Consideration should be given measuring need catch-up
