摘要: The mechanisms of biodegradation poly (DL-lactide), (epsilon-caprolactone), and copolymers epsilon-caprolactone with DL-dilactide, delta-valerolactone, DL-epsilon-decalactone in rabbit were shown to be qualitatively similar. However, the rate first stage degradation process, non-enzymatic random hydrolytic chain scission, varied by an order magnitude was dependent on morphological as well chemical effects. Weight loss generally not observed until molecular weight had decreased 15,000 or less. Poly (DL-lactide) differed from other polyesters studied, scission increasing after commencement loss. greater period prior shorter when comonomer content sufficient reduce melting point epsilon-caproate sequences body temperature.
