摘要: Interleukin-6 (IL-6), also called 26-kd protein, hybridoma plasmacytoma growth factor, beta 2-interferon, or B cell stimulatory factor 2, is a recently described human cytokine with multiple and differentiation activities. Using very sensitive bioassay based on the activity of this protein for hybridomas, we found that IL-6 was significantly elevated in synovial fluid from patients rheumatoid arthritis (RA) other inflammatory arthritides, as compared group osteoarthritis. Moreover, detected about one-third serum samples RA. In latter group, significant correlation between levels C-reactive alpha 1-acid glycoprotein, 1-antitrypsin, fibrinogen, haptoglobin, which indicates related to disease
