摘要: Serum specimens were obtained by fetoscopy at 19–25 weeks' gestation from four fetuses whose mothers had confirmed rubella earlier in pregnancy. They tested for rubellaspecific IgM antibody capture radioimmunoassay. No specific was detected one fetus and a healthy infant delivered term. Specific the other three fetuses. In case level low (1 unit) this pregnancy went to term resulting neonate with clinical laboratory evidence of congenital infection. The remaining two 2.8 2.4 units pregnancies terminated. Blood these after abortion showed levels 5.4 2.9 respectively. sera eleven aborted because maternal but five cases terminated before 19 weeks interval between rash or less. The results show that human can produce detectable 19–20 exposure sevella several earlier. However, larger study is required define reliablity fetoscopic blood sampling diagnosis intrauterine
