摘要: The drinking responses of pigeons infused simultaneously IV (0.334 ml/min) and ICV (2 microliters/min) for 15 min with various osmotic solutions were observed during, 60 after, the combined infusions. Drinking in response to infusion 0.5 M NaCl or 1.0 sucrose was unaffected by simultaneous 0.15 NaCl, enhanced 0.3 inhibited during water attenuated 0.9 sucrose. 1.5 sucrose, two that would have greatly increased CSF sodium concentration, only slightly affected infusions water. These results show following administration stimuli can be may further decreased concentration thereby suggesting play a "permissive role" osmotically induced drinking.
