摘要: Abstract There is an ongoing discussion regarding conflicting data on malformation rate in children born after intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). A prospective, multicentric, control cohort study was done Germany. Fifty-nine centres prospectively recruited pregnancies before the 16th week of gestation, which were included if they beyond this time. Children examined according to a standardized procedure. conceived spontaneously taken from prospective birth registry (Mainzer Modell), where exact same criteria as ICSI cohort. Major calculated, based all liveborn and stillborn children, well spontaneous induced abortions, beginning with gestation. In cohort, 8.6% infants (291/3372), 6.9% (2140/30940), had major malformation. This resulted crude relative risk (RR) 1.25 (95% confidence interval 1.11–1.40). no influence origin ICSI. increased for child have compared that has been conceived. Based knowledge early developmental steps following ICSI, conventional IVF general, it assumed due parental factors causing infertility, led first place.
