摘要: Shares of renewables continue to grow in the European power system. A fully renewable system will primarily depend on sources wind and photovoltaics (PV), which are not dispatchable but intermittent therefore pose a challenge balancing To overcome this issue, several solutions have been proposed investigated past, including storage, backup power, reinforcement transmission grid, demand side management (DSM). In paper, we investigate potential DSM balance simplified, For purpose, use ten years weather historical load data, power-flow model implementation as storage equivalent, impact need for energy. We show that has reduce energy Europe by up one third can cover share 67%. Finally, it is demonstrated optimal mix PV shifted utilisation towards higher PV, from 19% 36%.
