摘要: Endometriosis is one of the major causes economic burden and compromised quality life in a very large percentage Asian women. While it perceived as benign condition, recent research has shown that may be significant cause infertility metastatic cancer. It also been associated with other diseases linked to functioning immune system. Genetic well environmental factors are known affect manifestation progression endometriosis. This review aims summarize pertaining risk factors, diagnosis treatment endometriosis Chinese provides an overview identified genetic mutations polymorphisms their effects on developing population. A comparison drawn between European-American female populations differences responses have summarized. Since traditional medicine (TCM) often used treat endometriosis, wherever possible, efficacies Western TCM population provided. Although much progress made resolution several gaps remain this highlights possible areas future advancement can result improvement patient outcomes life.
