摘要: Summary The details of the dynamic behavior neural activity as recorded from single units in abducens nucleus cat during an induced nystagmoid pattern eye movement are investigated. Cellular discharge patterns found to be temporally associated with both fast and slow phase portions previous studies. temporal relationship between cellular indicate that: (1) average approximately 30 msec is needed after arrival first action potential initiate a saccade; (2) duration equal saccadic plus 37 msec. Average instantaneous pulse frequency profiles representing control signals obtained unit portion movement. A preliminary analysis made characteristics these leading confirmation previously hypothesized rapid rise times.
