摘要: AbstractActivating flux assisted tungsten inert gas welding of magnesium alloy was investigated, and TiO2 powder mixed with SiC particles were selected as the flux. The results indicated that penetrations different percentages in almost same, they all higher than without It shown distributed dispersed weld bead, particle content centre at edge by SEM EDS. mechanical properties beads obviously improved tensile tests microhardness tests, when added TiO2. When 60%TiO2+40%SiC used, strength bead reached 89·6% base metal, it same any metal nearly metal. reason hardening dispersion hardening.
