摘要: Background: Seroma is the most frequent complication in abdominoplasty. Some patients are more prone to develop this complication. Ultrasound a well-known method with which diagnose seroma abdominal wall. The purpose of study was verify efficacy use quilting suture prevent seroma. Methods: Twenty-one female who presented deformity type III/A according authors’ classification skin and myoaponeurotic had undergone selected should have at least one following characteristics: body mass index greater than 25 kg/m2; weight loss 10 kg; previous incision supraumbilical region; or present thinning subcutaneous area above umbilicus. performed for every patient from 15 18 days after operation search fluid collection Results: average found 8.2 cc per patient. Only two underwent aspiration because ultrasound showed 20 collected fascial layer. These did not recurrence aspiration. Conclusion: seems be an efficient technique formation.
