摘要: Recently several attempts have been made to combine calcium phosphates, such as β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) and, most of all, hydroxyapatite (HA), with bioactive glasses different composition, in order develop composites improved biological and mechanical performance. Unfortunately, the production systems usually implies a high-temperature treatment (up 1300 °C), which may result drawbacks, including crystallization original glass, decomposition phase and/or reactions between constituent phases, non-trivial consequences terms microstructure, bioactivity properties final samples. In present contribution, novel binary obtained by sintering characterized low tendency crystallize, addition HA or β-TCP second phase. particular, treated at relatively temperature (818 °C 830 °C, depending on sample), thus preserving amorphous structure glass minimizing interaction phases. The effects nature processing conditions composite vitro systematically discussed. To conclude, feasibility study obtain scaffolds for bone tissue regeneration has proposed.
