摘要: The oral bacterial microbiome encompasses approximately 700 commonly occurring phylotypes, half of which can be present at any time in individual. These bacteria are largely indigenous to the cavity; this limited habitat range suggests that interactions between various and phylotypes their environment, crucial for existence. Molecular cataloging has confirmed many basic observations on composition were formulated well before ribosomal RNA-based systematics, but power scope molecular taxonomy have resulted discovery new and, more importantly, made possible a level community analysis was unachievable with classical methods. Bacterial structure varies location within mouth, changes related disease initiation progression. Factors influence formation evolution communities include selective adherence epithelial or tooth surfaces, specific cell-to-cell binding as driver early composition, interorganismal interaction leading alteration local represents first step road disease. A comprehensive understanding how these factors interact drive microbial lead strategies inhibition periodontal diseases dental caries.
