Substrate effects on the room-temperature ferromagnetism in Co-doped TiO2 thin films grown by pulsed laser deposition

摘要: Co:TiO2 films were fabricated by laser ablation on Si, LaAlO3 (LAO), and SrTiO3 (STO) substrates from a ceramic target. Films all types of have Curie temperature (TC) above 400 K. All are highly crystallized with different structures. While Si rutile, LAO STO single phased anatase. Due to the lattice mismatch, grown under same growth conditions LAO, saturation magnetization coercivity. Co atoms mostly localized near surface films, magnetic measurements suggested that ferromagnetism unlikely originates clusters.
