Influence of the Calcium Hydroxide Intracanal Dressing on Dentinal Tubule Penetration of Two Root Canal Sealers

摘要: Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect a calcium hydroxide (CH) dressing on tubular penetration two endodontic sealers, AH Plus (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) and MTA Fillapex (Angelus, Londrina, Brazil). Methods Seventy-two mandibular premolars with single root canal were prepared ProFile.04 rotary instruments Maillefer) divided into four groups. In groups, an intracanal CH placed for 15 days. obturations performed lateral condensation gutta-percha in combination one tested sealers. roots transversely sectioned at apical middle levels. percentage sealer walls impregnated dentin area transverse sections obtained using confocal laser scanning microscopy. Statistical analysis one-way variance (ANOVA) Games-Howell test. Results reduced mean value third teeth obturated (P<0.01), whereas no difference observed both Conclusion did not interfere however, decreased fillings. Overall, presented higher than obturations.
