摘要: The aim of this study was to compare the effect QMix, BioPure MTAD, 17 % EDTA, and saline on penetrability a resin-based sealer into dentinal tubules using confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM) describe cleaning root canal walls by SEM. Eighty distobuccal roots from upper molars were selected randomly divided four groups (n = 20) before preparation according solution used in final rinse protocol (FRP): QG (QMix), MG (BioPure MTAD), EG (17 % EDTA), CG (control group: saline). Ten each group prepared for SEM, images (×2000) acquired. remaining canals filled with single gutta-percha cone AH Plus 0.1 % Rhodamine B. specimens horizontally sectioned at 4 mm apex, slices analyzed CLSM (×10). Sealer penetration Adobe Photoshop software. presented similar amounts (P > .05). lowest values (P < .05). best results smear layer removal apical third achieved when compared Seventeen percent EDTA QMix promoted superior that MTAD saline. Despite studies have not confirmed relationship between sealing ability endodontic sealers their tubules, assumes importance, since sealers, unlike gutta-percha, are able penetrate isthmus, accessory canals, filling system.
