摘要: Objective:To describe and contextualize functional status of elderly people (= 60 years) in Bangladesh by relating it to gender, region, socioeconomic status. Methods:In this community-based study (N= 696), was described through assessment activities daily living (ADL) instrumental (IADL). Information obtained on type help used for ADLs IADLs reason nonperformance IADLs. Results:Findings indicate differential performance gender region. Socioeconomic is found influence only. Empirical evidence regarding not performing a task enables understanding sociocultural structural ability.
