摘要: PyPSA-Eur-Sec-30 is an open-source, hourly-resolved, networked model of the European energy system which includes one node per country as well electricity, heating, and transport sectors. The capacity dispatch generation storage technologies in every can be cost-optimised under different CO2 emissions constraints. This paper presents overview most relevant results previously obtained with model, highlighting influence solar photovoltaic (PV) on them. For 95% reduction, relative to 1990 level, PV supplies average 33% electricity demand. Southern countries install large capacities together electric batteries, while northern onshore offshore wind use hydrogen reinforced interconnections deal fluctuations. strong daily profile heavily impacts time series backup technologies. optimal are investigated for variable emissions, transmission interconnection among neighbouring countries, cost assumptions.
