摘要: Abstract The expression of myeloperoxidase was studied in three human myeloid leukemic cell lines. myeloperxidase transcript strongly expressed promyelocytic HL 60 cells, whereas much lower levels were detected immature monocytic U 937 cells. Phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate induction resulted inhibition within 24hrs. This regulatory event could not be blocked by cycloheximide. Furthermore, cycloheximide did superinduce mRNA KG 1, and arguing against the existence a negative gene regulator for myeloperoxidase. Therefore, can classified as primary response gene.
