摘要: Stanniocalcin (STC) is a polypeptide hormone that was first discovered in fishes, where it functions as regulator of calcium and phosphate homoeostasis. Recently, complementary DNAs encoding human STC (hSTC) have been characterized, recombinant hSTC has synthesized bacterial expression system. In preliminary studies, STC-immunoreactive cells already identified kidney tubules with antibodies to hSTC. The purpose this study map the overall spatial distribution mammalian kidney, using rat model Immunocytochemistry performed on fixed sections tissue antiserum conjunction fluorescein isothiocyanate-conjugated second antibodies. were found cortical thick ascending limb, macula densa, distal convoluted tubules, medullary collecting ducts.
