摘要: Stanniocalcin (STC) is a glycoprotein hormone that was first discovered in fish and recently identified mammals. STC immunoreactive (STCir) cells have been rat kidney there also evidence the functions as regulator of renal phosphate homeostasis. In present study we STCir tubules by correlative immunocytochemistry using antibodies to specific antigenic markers (Tamm-Horsfall protein anion exchanger-1). The cellular sites gene expression were situ hybridization. Correlative revealed all proximal straight tubule cells, cortical thick ascending limb distal convoluted both principal alpha-intercalated collecting duct system. On other hand, hybridization expressed only medullary cells. This suggests either being sequestered segments do not express (making them putative targets hormone), or mRNA levels simply too low these be detected
