摘要: Replicated sister chromatids are held together from their synthesis in S phase to separation anaphase. The process of chromatid cohesion is essential for the proper segregation chromosomes eukaroytic cells. Recent studies Saccharomyces cerevisiae have advanced our understanding how established, maintained, and dissolved during cell cycle. Historical observations suggested that establishment roughly coincident with replication fork passage. Emerging evidence now indicates components, such as PCNA, a novel DNA polymerase, Trf4p/Pol σ (formerly κ), modified clamp-loader complex, actively participate establishment. Here, we review molecular events chromosome cycle respect cohesion. Failure results aneuploidy characteristic many birth defects tumors humans.
