摘要: Abstract Coupled momentum and heat transfers have been numerically studied in a non-confined, axisymmetrical, laminar, initially cold jet impinging on flat substrate heated at high temperature. Variable physical properties were taken into account. The flow field as well the local transfer rate was function of various parameters such Reynolds Froude numbers, nozzle-substrate distance, temperature, directions (upwards, downwards). calculated Nusselt number are good accordance with experimental data from literature low temperature difference between gas substrate. numerical solution describes satisfactorily non-monotonous radial variation small nozzle distance.
