摘要: Nitrogen (N) starvation resulted in degreening, inhibition of photosynthetic oxygen evolution and dark respiration, reduced survival, increased age-specific mortality both Chlorella fusca vulgaris. Analysis vivo chlorophyll (Chl) fluorescence induction kinetics revealed the presence N-starvation-induced changes at level degreened thylakoids species. These included decreased yield photochemistry photosystem 2 (PS2), a declined efficiency. Synthesis secondary carotenoids represented biochemical change carotenogenesis that had photoprotective effect C. fusca. This inferred photoprotection was reflected delayed improved survival under N-starvation. The further elucidated by comparison with vulgaris which not able to synthesize same conditions.
