摘要: Reduction of the risk lung cancer as a result giving up smoking is examined according to number years cessation from and cigarettes that were smoked per day before quitting smoking. Patients with histologically diagnosed 26 hospitals in six cities US compared controls matched for age, sex, race, time diagnosis, hospital. Smoking habits recorded by trained interviewers using questionnaire. In men, fairly consistent reduction each category was found. women, however, much less pattern observed. Analysis data histologic type showed among declined more consistently those Kreyberg I cancers than II tumors. The inconsistency seen mainly patients cancers, which common women.
